The voice of the song has been given by Geet Sagar, while the roles of both music composer and lyricist have been handled by Vijay Verma. The speciality of Re Sara is that its lyrics are inspired by the Bhojpuri folk style, which makes it different from regular Hindi pop songs.

The song begins with "Aara se re... aara se le aaini hai, isi mein mavat ke khai si" (From Aara... she has brought from Aara, in this she ate something with pleasure) — which feels like a rural journey and a village story. After this, lines like "Misiya ke khetwa mein misiya hireil, re sara..." (In the fields of Misiya, greenery is seen, O Sara...) come, where khetwa (fields), greenery, and glimpses of rural life are shown. The repetition of "Re Sara" creates a folk music rhythm and hook, making you want to sing along as soon as you hear it. The words in the lyrics are simple and straightforward, but they carry a deep desi fragrance and traditional feeling.

Overall, Re Sara is a song that presents the Bhojpuri folk tradition with a modern music arrangement. Vijay Verma, as lyricist and composer, has given the song a grounded and memorable form, and Geet Sagar's voice brings life to it. This song is a unique part of the Time To Dance soundtrack, connecting listeners with the fragrance of its roots. If you like desi style and folk beats, then Re Sara's lyrics will surely draw you in.
