Sab Jhulas Gaya Lyrics – Arijit Singh | Chhapaak

Sab Jhulas Gaya Song Description

This song "Sab Jhulas Gaya" (सब झुलस गया) is from the film Chhapaak, featuring Deepika Padukone and Vikrant Massey in lead roles. This song has been voiced by Arijit Singh, and the music is composed by Shankar - Ehsaan - Loy. The lyrics are written by Gulzar Sahab, which are very deep and emotional. This song has been released under the music label Zee Music Company.

The song begins with "Ek pal toh tha yahan, ek pal mein bas gaya" (There was a moment here, it settled in just a moment), showing how a small moment from a single instant can change an entire life. Then, the line "Ek nazar ki aag se, ek jahan jhulas gaya" (From the fire of one glance, one world got scorched) reveals how just one look or one glance can burn down the entire world. By repeating "Sab jhulas gaya" (Everything got scorched/burnt), the song expresses a kind of despair and pain that connects with the film's story — where the life of an acid attack survivor changes completely.

The speciality of this song is that the pain and Sufi-style touch in Arijit Singh's voice brings every word of the song to life. The music by Shankar - Ehsaan - Loy is very slow and deep, which makes Gulzar's words even more impactful. If you read the lyrics of this song, you will find a story that turns the tragedy of a single moment into a journey of an entire lifetime. This song is for those who understand emotions and love to lose themselves in music.
