Chidi Chidi To Udi Udi Song Description

This song "Chidi Chidi To Udi Udi" (चिड़ी चिड़ी तो उड़ी उड़ी) is taken from the film Madam Chief Minister, which features Richa Chadda, Saurabh Shukla, and Manav Kaul in lead roles. The main part of the song "Khol pankh ab, maar udaari, tod ke pinjara, hawa sawari" (Now open your wings, take a flight, break the cage, ride the wind) is repeated multiple times, symbolizing a bird's freedom from its cage and its flight. The repetition of "Chidi chidi to udi udi" (The bird flew and flew) gives the feeling that freedom and courage exist within everyone, they just need to be awakened. The song also has imaginative lines like "Teen lok das disha saath mein" (Three worlds and ten directions together) and "Cycle ki kare sher sawari" (Rides a lion on a bicycle), which make it even more interesting, as if a small bird can show great strength.
