Gustakh Mausam Lyrics – Ronit Chaterji, Vibha Saraf | Nail Polish

Gustakh Mausam Song Description

This song is "Gustakh Mausam" (गुस्ताख मौसम), a beautiful romantic track from the film Nail Polish. It is sung by Ronit Chaterji and Vibha Saraf, and the music is also composed by Ronit Chaterji himself. The lyricist is Sudeep Naik, who has written it in a very poetic style. In this song, the weather is described as "Gustakh" — meaning mischievous or carefree — which falls from the branches, flows over the clouds, and walks on the sheets of the lake. This song shows the feeling of a lover who wants to take his beloved far away, where eyes can speak unspoken words. The lyrics feature imagery like "Shaakh se gire hain yun baadalon pe gustakh mausam" (The mischievous weather has fallen from the branches onto the clouds) and "Bah chale hain jheel ke chaadaron ke gustakh mausam" (The mischievous weather has flowed over the lake's sheets), creating a very soft and dreamy atmosphere.

This song has been released by Zee Music Company, and the film Nail Polish features actors like Arjun Rampal, Manav Kaul, Madhoo, and Anand Tiwari. The music of the song is slow and sweet, like a lullaby of romantic feelings. In the second refrain, lines like "Palkein meri dhalti nahi, chalke hain jo sapne kai" (My eyelids don't close, many dreams have spilled out) convey that dreams are flowing from the lover's eyes, and he remains lost in them. Further, "Khil rahe hain gul kai hasraton ke gustakh mausam" (The mischievous weather of desires has bloomed many flowers) shows that both the weather and desires are in full bloom. Lines like "Haath thame man chale raston pe gustakh mausam" (The mischievous weather walks hand-in-hand on the paths) and "Doob jaayein baahon mein jannaton ke gustakh mausam" (The mischievous weather drowns in the arms of paradise) speak of immersing in love and feeling like heaven.

Overall, this song tells the story of an intoxicating weather that sweeps lovers along with it. In the lyrics, nature — clouds, lakes, mountains, borders — all emerge like a romantic painting. If you like Hindi romantic songs, then "Gustakh Mausam" will surely appeal to you, because it has melody, good voices, and deep emotions.
