Main Toota Taara Lyrics – Amandeep Singh | Tank Cleaner

Main Toota Taara Song Description

This song is "Main Toota Taara" (मैं टूटा तारा), which is from the movie "Tank Cleaner" . This film features artists like Money Sabharwal, Vinamarjot Singh Wraich, Ashok Salaria, and Kulwant Kaur Bhatia in lead roles. This song is sung by Amandeep Singh, the music composer is Kuldeep Toor, the lyrics are written by TeAmo Ravi Singh, and it has been released by Redi Productions. This is an emotional and sad song that deeply portrays the feeling of a broken heart, loneliness, and a defeated destiny.

The lyrics of the song begin with "Main toota taara ban ke reh gaya hoon" (I have become a broken star and I remain) — which conveys that the speaker feels like a broken star whose light has been lost, and their moon is far away. They say they cannot meet them and have been swept away in their own tears. Words like "Kismat ka haara" (Defeated by fate) show that they feel defeated by their destiny, questioning why their hopes are not with them, and why life played a gamble with them. They ask why they could not meet like seven seas and why they have been swept away like a paper palace — meaning all their hopes have scattered. Here, "Kaagaz ka mahal" (Paper palace) is a symbol of fragile dreams that break easily.

In the further lyrics, they say that in one moment, all colors turned colorless; the distances made their manners and styles awkward. Their love story is like that of Ranjha-Majnu — meaning a story of love, separation, and sacrifice. And they have endured all the pains of life. This song presents the feelings of pain, defeat, and broken love in very simple and impactful words that can touch anyone's heart. Overall, "Main Toota Taara" is a deep emotional track, where the melody, voice, and words together create an atmosphere of sadness and loneliness, and it is relatable for those who have experienced disappointment in love, loneliness, or the feeling of destiny not being on their side.
